Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.
Our canteen operates on TUESDAY'S and FRIDAY'S and will include everyday items, recess and lunch specials, treats, drinks, snacks and icy treats. Online ordering will be available, as well as cash or card at the counter. Minimum $5 for card transactions. Please order online on Monday for Tuesday (close 9pm Monday) and Friday orders in by Thursday (close 9pm Thursday).
Counter orders can be handed in before school starts (8:30-9am)
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes.
Learn more about the NSW Department of Education’s School Uniform Policy.
Parents/carers are asked to co-operate with the school in its efforts to have all students wearing the correct school uniform. The THS P&C endorses the THS uniform.
If parents and carers have any financial difficulties purchasing the correct uniform, please contact the Principal or Deputy Principal to discuss any assistance the school may provide; confidentiality is assured.
Out of Uniform
It is understandable that there will be times when the uniform is not available. During such rare times, the student should be dressed in a manner which is appropriate to a classroom. Parents/carers are asked to provide a note to cover these rare occasions and the student must see the Deputy Principal before Home Group and receive a uniform pass. Continued noncompliance with wearing the correct uniform may prohibit students from representing the school on non-compulsory excursions and extracurricular activities, e.g. sporting representation.
You may apply to use our school’s facilities for appropriate purposes provided your hiring of the facility doesn't interfere with our teaching and learning programs.
We assess each application on a case-by-case basis. Find out more at Using school facilities.
If you’re interested in hiring our facilities, contact us for details.
